Phase 6 of the Dustin Cook Training Centre is the final phase of the DCTC project and will bring new snowmaking infrastructure to Dustin Cook.

We've prepared a mock-up of the DCTC Phase 6 SnowFirst project idea so you can visualize the thirty snow-guns on DC and the widened run at RockCut. The goal is to reduce the time it takes to cover the run from 10 days to 48 hours. With changing weather patterns and shorter snowmaking windows of opportunity, this would lengthen the ski season and ensure early skiing and training on Cheval and DC benefiting all skiers.

I'm really excited to share with you that the DCTC Phase 6 SnowFirst project is 100% a GO and our strategy worked and your pledges made all the difference!
Attached is an advance copy of a joint Club MSM / MSM press release that will go out later today with all the news (apologies as you will likely be copied again when I share it with the wider audience of DCTC supporters later today).
Thanks to the collective generosity of forty+ families in quickly pledging $100,000 towards SnowFirst, it demonstrated to Bob Sudermann that we were serious and with it he has agreed to co-invest $190,000 into the project. He also agreed to allocate all the remaining snowmaking grants of $170,000 into the project for a total investment of approximately $470,000.
Over the past few weeks we have been working through the details with HKD Snowmakers and finalizing quotations from a half dozen pipe suppliers. Like many things, the price of steel piping has risen dramatically during the pandemic but fortunately we secured a deal with HKD that was satisfactory to Bob Sudermann.
All the required documents have been agreed and signed to the satisfaction of the Club and MSM.
We are now ready to convert pledges into cash and tax receipts for all of you. Alpine Canada has provided this donation link which will remain open for the next week. We are hoping that everyone can execute this ASAP.
